Ken Hoornbeek and Lorna Reeves, both Character Fort Collins Community Engagement Council members, are leading our Business Task Force. We are looking for passionate community leaders to join our team! If you are interested in being an advocate for the work of Character Fort Collins in the business community please plan to attend the next Business Task Force meeting on Thursday, January 15th, 2009 from 1:00PM - 2:00PM at Cache Bank and Trust. In the spirit of January's character trait, "Generosity - carefully managing my resources so I can freely give to those in need", we want to hear about the greatest act of kindness that you witnessed over the Holiday Season! Email Meghan at exec.asst@characterfortcollins.org and include a description of the generous act you witnessed. The first fifteen people to respond will receive a 2009 Character First! Calendar. Become a Sustainable Member Today We have received tremendous support from the Fort Collins Community since the roll-out our Sustainable Memberships in October 2008. Character Fort Collins uses money received from Sustainable Memberships to continue promoting and recognizing good character community wide. However, it takes the entire community to build a culture of good character. We invite businesses, organizations, and individuals to join Character Fort Collins in building a community of character. Become an Individual Sustaining Member for any donation of $60.00 or more. Or show support for Character Fort Collins by making your company a Sustaining Business Member. Sustainng memberships for businesses with fewer than 50 employees are $60.00 per year, between 51 and 99 employees are $200.00 per year, and over 100 employees are $300.00 per year. Your sustaining membership includes a welcome packet, a member sticker, training and event invitations, and monthly e-news updates.
