Community Character Breakfast
Character Fort Collins invites you to our free monthly Community Character Breakfast.

When:  The breakfast will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 6:45-8 a.m.

Where:  Join us at the Moot House Restaurant, 2626 S. College Ave,
Fort Collins.

Cost:  None.  A light continental breakfast will be served.

At the breakfast you will be able to participate in:

* A brief overview of the Community-wide Character Initiative

* An advance discussion of our monthly character focus for the next
month. The character quality will be DECISIVENESS, defined as
"The ability to recognize key factors and finalize difficult decisions."


* A discussion of the steps to start and sustain a character
initiative for your workplace, school, or home.

We invite you to come and learn about our community's character initiative
and the benefits of active participation for families, schools, and
workplaces.

Character First! Effective Leadership Workshops
Successfully impact morale, productivity, and excellence through character-based leadership.

Today’s leaders need more than technical expertise and mental aptitude to succeed.  They must possess the ability to effectively inspire and direct others.  Such capacity is only achieved through the development and maintenance of strong relationships—strong relationships that come from a leader with good character.

You are invited to participate in a series of five Character First! Effective Leadership Workshops:

Learn aspects of character-based leadership and how to turn sources of irritation into opportunities for energy-giving.


February 28, 2008:  Understanding Perspectives
Learn how leadership perspectives affect your outlook on life.

March 27 , 2008:  Communicating with Sincerity
Learn how to communicate with clarity regardless of personal differences.

April 24 , 2008:  Overcoming Anger
Learn how to correct the source of the problem and gain lasting control of anger.

May 22, 2008:  Serving Leadership
Learn how to lead with authority rather than power through strong relationships.

Character-based principles for a successful workplace

Implementation Seminar will acquaint you with character-based principles and equip you with powerful, yet practical, insights on how to successfully promote character within your organization.  Through emphasizing, requiring, and recognizing positive character qualities, you can encourage your employees to achieve true success.  Seminar topics include:

  • Building Character – Is your organization building strong relationships through a workplace that emphasizes character?
