Faith

We want to help those in faith-based organizations grow in good character and spread it to the wider community.

Character Fort Collins provides consulting services and resources to faith community leaders and people of all faiths as they support character development efforts throughout the community.

People of faith can play a vital role in a community-wide character emphasis that includes life applications of the 49 specific character traits, focusing on one trait each month. This gives faith communities the opportunity to be engaged by promoting each character trait within the tenets and language of their faith.

Activities within faith communities may include:

  • Providing regular communication pertaining to the monthly character quality to those in the faith community

  • Encouraging and equipping families to engage in character development in the home

  • Using "teachable moments" in religious education activities to integrate and reinforce character qualities within lesson contexts
